Why I make THIS work
Since 2018, I have followed Britain's rarest native horses into the places that made them: fell, moor and island. Wild Hearts, my six-year study of these breeds, was published with the support of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
I make this work because it saddens me to watch Britain's wild places becoming less, year by year. Each print is made by hand, in small editions.
Studio & Gallery.
My studio is in Newhey, on the edge of Saddleworth Moor. It is where the prints are made, and where you can see them as they are meant to be seen: in person, on paper, up close.
The studio opens one day each week, with dates posted here, or you are welcome to arrange a private visit at a time that suits you.
