Tales From a Wild Heart
A place to explore, dream, and delve deeper into my art practice and the horses I photograph.
The Horses of Holy Isle
Located off the west coast of Scotland, Holy Isle has an ancient spiritual heritage stretching back to the 6th century. This natural beauty spot is now a place of peace and meditation where the Centre for World Peace and Health is situated.
On the Isle lives three herds of Eriskay ponies. They are truly unique and live a wild existence, they are left to live and roam free within their herds across the Isle and have no human interference which is very unusual within the UK.
The Art of Encaustic Photography
Many people are intrigued when they see my original photo-encaustic wall art, often initially thinking it is a canvas but as they see the photograph up closes they simply just have to touch when they see the texture and depth in the piece. I thought I’d explain more about this lovely art form in my latest blog post.
